Hello Seahorse is a Mexican pop band that was formed in 2005. The genres that this band falls into is Indie, avant- pop, pop- rock, and synthpop. The band is made is made up of 4 member that each have nicknames; Oro De Neta, Bonnz!, Lo Blondo, and Joe. The members real names are Fernando Burgos, Gabriel G. De Leon, Denise Gutierrez, and Jose Borunda. Their best known song from the most recent album is Bestia, which you can find on Youtube or the Tumblr page. The band won song of the year in Mexico's "Indie- O Music Awards" in 2009. They have also been nominated in the Latin Grammy's and the MTV Video Music Awards Latinoamerica. They ahve shared the stage with band like Beastie Boys, Jarvis Cocker, Clinic, and The Killers.
To review their music, I would say that they are a very listen worthy band. Their music is very easy to like and understand. Some of the meanings behind their songs are very relate-able. I suggest this band to everyone!
