La Yegros

La Yegros grew up in Buenos Aires and in Brazil. She has a very unique voice compared to artists that are in the same genre of music as her. She took classical training for her voice and got her break when performing at De La Guarda theatre. She has worked with King Coya to help release her song Viene de Mi. They have compared the soul in her voice to be like those of Laura Lee and Angie Stone. She mixes cumbia, fol traditions and new cutting edge beats. 

I suggest La Yegros to anyone who like a little funky music with a twist of tradition. Its very fun and entertaining to watch the videos of her performing and watch her music videos. Artists that are similar to her are Super Guachin, Niteflights, and Woodman Stone.
